The Best Restaurants in Hot Springs

If you're looking for a great meal while in Hot Springs, Arkansas, then you're in luck!

There are many excellent restaurants here that will please your palate. Whether you’re looking for a casual dining experience or a sophisticated night out, Hot Springs has a place for you. Here are some of our favorite restaurants we think you’ll love:

Local Favorites

On Park Avenue, the best-kept “secret” of Hot Springs is Bailey’s Dairy Treat. This is THE best burger in town, and the milkshakes are all wonderful.

For an authentic New York pizza cooked in a brick oven, grab reservations at Deluca’s Pizza downtown. If you like a little spice, order the Patsy Searcy pie.

Colorado Grill is a Tex-Mex favorite, a little off the main downtown area.

Rolando’s is an Ecuadorian-inspired spot downtown, with unique, yet amazing, dishes. Make sure & get a spot on the back patio.

The Ohio Club in Hot Springs is a popular spot for both locals and visitors. This classic bar and grill has been open since 1905 when it used to be a popular spot for gangsters to hang out. The Club offers a great selection of food and drinks, as well as a fun atmosphere.

For a true experience, get reservations at the speakeasy, Don’s Southern Social. They operate a little bit differently than what you may be accustomed to. During prohibition, Hot Springs was a destination for people in search of a place to eat, drink cocktails and socialize. Using passwords and secret entrances, speakeasies welcomed guests who were “in the know.” Your dining experience at Don’s begins when you make your reservation, when you receive an email confirmation with instructions on where to find the entrance and a password for entry. With a twist on southern classics, Don’s is a fun, delicious experience from your first course to your last bite!

Kilwins in downtown Hot Springs is a local favorite that serves chocolates, fudge and ice cream. If you want to taste a “perfect” caramel apple, then this is your stop! We personally love the salted caramel apple, which has the perfect layers of caramel, chocolate and sea salt, with a crisp, slightly tart apple. The caramel corn, brittle, fudges and chocolates are all made in a traditional copper kettle. This is a treat that can’t be missed while visiting Hot Springs!

Drinks

Located downtown on Central Avenue, Kollective Coffee + Tea offers a menu of different artisan coffee, teas, and eats. All of their ingredients are organic and locally sourced. It’s a quick stroll from Bathhouse Row, so grab a coffee or snack on your way to explore the city.

Superior Bathhouse Brewery is a bustling brewery in an old bathhouse in downtown Hot Springs serving up good burgers and local brews. The brewery offers a wide variety of beers, including both classic styles and unique flavors. Plus they are the only brewery in town that brews beer from the Hot Springs mineral water! Enjoy a good beer in a landmark of history, and though it is a brewery, it’s suitable for all ages to come, hang out and enjoy great food.

The Bourbon Bar at 501 Prime is an upscale bar with an extensive wine and cocktail menu perfect for a date night or celebratory drink.

Red Light Roastery is a small-batch roastery that focuses on sourcing the best coffees from all over the world and roasting them to perfection. Red Light Roastery is passionate about coffee and it shows in their products. Whether you’re a coffee lover or just looking for a great cup of joe, Red Light Roastery is the place to go.

With a Wine List from around the world, you will always find new wines to explore, and their experienced staff can always help guide you to your perfect pour. If you’re not into wine, there are specialty cocktails that are wonderful. Grab a charcuterie board or flatbread for something to munch on. In the Trees Recommendation – Chocolate martini and charcuterie board

Via Roma is another wonderful Italian restaurant in Hot Springs. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is top-notch. Definitely be sure to try their seafood!

J&S Italian Villa, located in the Temperance Hill shopping center, is a local favorite with a cozy atmosphere.  With a menu that changes seasonally, J&S is known for some of the best service and food in town.  You can often find live music on the weekends, and check out the Sunday brunch menu as well.

Breakfast & Brunch

Mueller’s Bistro and Bakery is the perfect stop for breakfast and lunch. They have a large menu with all of the classic breakfast favorites and delicious sandwiches. Be sure to try some of the homemade pastries featured too!

Unless you’re an early riser, you’re going to have to wait for a table at the traditional downtown favorites– The Pancake Shop  (get blueberry pancakes!) or The Colonial. The restaurants turn tables over quickly, and there are nearby spots to shop and browse while you wait.

For a quick bite, Kollective Coffee + Tea has pastries & healthier options.

For cinnamon rolls, don’t miss Will’s Cinnamon Shop! Everything is baked daily, so be sure to get there in the morning if you want to grab a roll because demand is high! Customers get to pick the kind of icing and toppings they want for their roll so you can build your own. These rolls can be found at Destinie’s Bakeshop on Central, or at the Will’s Food Trailer on Park Avenue, where you can find covered outdoor seating.

For brunch, go to Eden. It is located in the Hale House bathhouse and has wonderful mimosas and brunch. Try the hibiscus mimosa, or if you can’t decide, get a flight! The chicken and waffles are a favorite as well.
